Haight’s Winter Clothing Drive

WINTER CLOTHING DRIVE (Acts 1-6)

Los Angeles

The Los Angeles office donated items to the Los Angeles Mission (www.losangelesmission.org). Founded in 1936, the Los Angeles Mission is a non-profit, privately supported, faith-based organization that serves the immediate and long-term needs of homeless and disadvantaged men, women and children. The Mission is among the nation’s largest service providers to the homeless.

Orange County

The firm’s Irvine office donated winter clothing to the Orange County Rescue Mission (www.rescuemission.org). The men, women and children who enter the gates of the Orange County Rescue Mission come from many walks of life and are all wounded in different ways. Some are highly educated, many are survivors of abuse, addiction and abandonment. None of these people ever imagined they’d be homeless and they all need our help. The people who come to us could be your neighbor, your coworker or perhaps a member of your own family. Our goal is to treat each person with respect and dignity. We prayerfully consider how we will implement an Individual Treatment Plan for those who come to us for help. The Orange County Rescue Mission serves the community through the provision of assistance in the areas of guidance, counseling, education, job training, shelter, food, clothing, health care and independent living communities.

Riverside

Our Riverside office donated clothing to the Path of Life Ministries (www.thepathoflife.com). Path of Life Ministries is a non-profit organization based in the City of Riverside and is committed to serving the greater Riverside homeless population and the poor with the goal to rescue, restore, and rebuild lives in our community. The mission is to help people become productive in life by addressing barriers of dysfunction. One of the ways that they can accomplish this is by partnering with the community through local collaborative partners and support agencies. Some partnerships consist of a one-time donation, while other partners choose to maintain an ongoing relationship with our organization.

Sacramento

The Sacramento office collected for Union Gospel Mission (www.ugmsac.com). For 55 years, the Union Gospel Mission Sacramento has supplied food, shelter, clothes, and a life-changing Gospel message to the homeless. The Union Gospel Mission has been restoring dignity to broken lives by providing meals to hungry men, women and children. They also provide a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program and distribute clothing and toiletries to more than 1,300 seniors, women and children each year. The Mission is also active in the community by supplying food boxes to families unable to adequately feed their children.

San Diego

The San Diego office collected for Goodwill (www.sdgoodwill.org). Goodwill operates through the resale or recycling of donated goods. By donating to and shopping at Goodwill Industries of San Diego County, you help people in the community get jobs. Haight was happy to help Goodwill continue providing independence, pride, and a sense of purpose to thousands of San Diegans by donating or shopping today.

San Francisco

The San Francisco office collected clothing for St. Anthony’s (www.stanthonysf.org). The mission of St. Anthony Foundation is to feed, shelter, clothe, lift the spirits of those in need, and create a society in which all persons flourish.
