Mr. Baumgaertner is a Partner in the Los Angeles office of Haight Brown & Bonesteel. He is a member of the Products Liability & Tort and Professional Liability Practice Groups. His practice focuses on civil dispute resolution. Although Mr. Baumgaertner is generally regarded as an extremely efficient settlement negotiator, he has successfully tried to verdict over 75 cases in various courts throughout California and the United States.
Because Mr. Baumgaertner represents both plaintiffs and defendants in virtually all areas of personal injury and wrongful death litigation, he has a wealth of personal experience which affords him the ability to provide his clients practical insight and efficient strategies for early, economical case resolution. Mr. Baumgaertner knows the intricacies of representing major national and international product manufacturers, insurance carriers, hotel chains, defense contractors, construction companies and joint powers associations as well as individuals.

For over 30 years, Mr. Baumgaertner has volunteered as a mediator/ arbitrator on a pro bono basis. He has been intimately involved with the Superior Court of Los Angeles, serving on the committees that designed and implemented the Superior Court Fast Track Rules, Attorneys Special Arbitration Program and its present Alternative Dispute Resolution Panel.
