Mr. Bonesteel is Of Counsel in Haight Brown & Bonesteel’s Los Angeles office. He is a member of the Product Liability & Tort and Environmental & Toxic Tort Practice Groups. For over thirty years, his practice has been concentrated in the defense of civil litigation with particular emphasis in defending pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in product liability matters. He he also has experience in chemical and agricultural/chemical litigation.
Mr. Bonesteel has served as national coordinating and coordinating counsel for clients in which he has been responsible for all phases of litigation and trial. In the pharmaceutical arena, Mr. Bonesteel has worked with global pharmaceutical companies and was very involved in Aspirin litigation cases, Reyes Syndrome litigation cases and pHisoHex litigation matters. Most notably, Mr. Bonesteel has been a part of legal teams on national hip and knee implant litigation as well as breast and penile implant litigation for a client who is a leading health and personal care company. As national counsel for major manufacturing companies, he has handled numerous chemical burns and exposure matters.
