Mr. Caine is a Partner in the Appellate Practice Group and is certified as a specialist in appellate law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. The emphasis of his practice is civil writs and appeals, as well as the representation of attorneys and other professionals in malpractice suits before trial courts. Mr. Caine has filed over 85 appellate briefs and writ petitions, all arising from civil litigation. The topics covered include numerous aspects of professional liability, insurance, bad faith litigation, real estate law, and complex civil litigation.

Mr. Caine earned his B.S. from the Indiana University in 1982 and his J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, the Los Angeles County Bar Association Appellate Courts Committee and the State Bar of California.
