William E. Ireland is a Partner and focuses his practice on intellectual property, real property, environmental litigation and related business torts. He has extensive experience in handling matters at all phases of dispute resolution from negotiation, counseling, alternative dispute resolution to trial. His representative clients include real property developers, public entities, property managers, financial services companies, and importers. With a focus on small to medium size companies, Mr. Ireland works with clients on matters involving real property issues, and commercial transactions inside and outside of litigation, such as trade secrets disputes, and applying equitable remedies, injunctions and temporary restraining orders. Representative products include winter shoes, sports watches, marketing products and jewelry.
Mr. Ireland represented a lead defendant in 900 plus plaintiff coordinated matters arising from claimed environmental exposure. He has handled matters for a creative marketing and merchandise solutions company involving commercial litigation, employment and many different intellectual property issues. Additionally, Mr. Ireland has experience handling California Unfair Business Practices Act (Business & Professions Code ยง 17200). As an active member of the Defense Research Institute, he has spoken at the national conference on business litigation and has written on enforcement issues regarding contracts.
