Mr. Marshall is a Partner in the Los Angeles Office. His practice is concentrated in product liability and breach of warranty claims for motor vehicle and material handling equipment, premises liability and general negligence actions. Currently, he is national trial counsel for a major Japanese manufacturer of seatbelts, airbags and other motor vehicle components. He has handled numerous jury trials in product liability, premises liability, construction defect, consumer warranty and general negligence actions for automotive corporations inside and outside the United States. He has also represented international insurance companies on issues involving product liability. Recently, Mr. Marshall favorably settled a very large personal injury case on behalf of an automobile manufacturer, in which a plaintiff alleged that a forklift was unstable and did not have an adequate seat restraint system to keep the driver safe.
Mr. Marshall earned his B.A. from the University of Nebraska in 1967 and his J.D. from Loyola University in 1978. He is currently a member of the State Bar of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel.
