Carol A. Salmacia
Biographical Information
Ms. Salmacia is a Partner in Haight Brown & Bonesteel’s Orange County Office. She is a member of the Professional Liability, Employment Law and Product Liability & Tort Litigation Practice Groups. Ms. Salmacia has over 30 years of experience specializing in the defense of complex malpractice litigation, defending hospitals, physicians and related healthcare providers as well as drug-related injuries, pharmacies, and a broad range of healthcare-related matters.
Ms. Salmacia has also been lead trial counsel on major injury cases filed in Illinois, Nevada and Washington State.
Representative Experience:
- Lead Defense counsel in excess of 75 trials in medical malpractice cases
- Defense of elder abuse cases
- Defense of general liability cases with major injury component for Everest and Axis Insurance Companies
- Defense of pharmacy cases for Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company
