Mr. Wilkerson is a Partner in Haight Brown & Bonesteel’s Riverside Office. He is a member of the Public Entity Litigation and Professional Errors & Omissions Practice Groups. Mr. Wilkerson's public entity practice focuses on defending school districts, police officers, and fire departments in premises and general liability, employment and labor and automobile accident matters.
As for his Professional Errors & Omissions experience, Mr. Wilkerson has extensive experience in defending attorneys and real estate professionals in various types of litigation, including professional malpractice. His experience with California’s anti-SLAPP (Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation) statute has allowed him to institute and prevail on motions under the statute to recover attorneys’ fees for his clients.
Mr. Wilkerson has also handled foreclosing on mechanic’s liens for primary and subcontractors.
In addition to acting as an advocate, Mr. Wilkerson serves as a Court-appointed arbitrator for the San Bernardino Superior Court.
Representative Experience:
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Wilkerson worked as a Claim Representative where he primarily handled commercial claims both prior to and in litigation.
