Ms. Harpell is Of Counsel to the firm, resident in the San Francisco office. Ms. Harpell’s practice includes commercial litigation, securities, personal injury, legal malpractice, accounting malpractice, class actions, and wrongful termination matters. She has experience in all phases of litigation including pre-law investigations, responsive pleadings, written discovery and depositions, law and motion practice, arbitrations and mediations, retention and preparation of experts, jury and court trials, and defending appeals.
Ms. Harpell earned her B.A. from St. John’s College in Annapolis, Maryland in 1977 and her J.D., Order of the Coif, from the Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California, Berkeley in 1984. While in law school, she was Co-Chairman of Moot Court Board and received an American Jurisprudence Award in Remedies. She is a member of the State Bar of California.
