Winnie Tungpagasit is a Senior Associate in the San Francisco office. She devotes a significant part of her practice to construction disputes and construction defect litigation. Her architectural background and understanding of construction make her well-qualified to work in this specialized field of law. She was previously staff counsel for Liberty Mutual with full responsibility of cases from inception to resolution. In her experience, she has represented general contractors and target subcontractors as well as owners, architects, and engineers. Ms. Tungpagasit has obtained a complete defense verdict in binding arbitration in a mold case with over $200,000 in exposure. She has also prepared and prevailed on summary judgment motions involving a $40 million commercial construction litigation lawsuit.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Tungpagasit managed a $20 million construction of restaurants, shops, houses and mini-factories at an industrial construction site in Bangkok, Thailand.
Ms. Tungpagasit earned her Bachelors in Architecture from the University of Hawaii, Manoa in 1995 and her Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
