Wendell F. Hall
Biographical Information
Ms. Hall is a Partner in Haight Brown & Bonesteel's Los Angeles office. She is a member of the Product Liability & Tort Litigation and Employment & Labor Practice Groups. Her practice is concentrated on defending clients against claims of employment discrimination and harassment, premises liability, personal injury, breach of contract and general negligence.
Ms. Hall has significant experience representing a broad range of industries including all aspects of building management and operations, private security guard companies, parking lot operators and other commercial building service providers.
Representative Experience:
- Obtained defense verdicts for one of the country’s largest parking lot operators in lawsuits involving slip and fall accidents and related general negligence claims
- Defense verdict following jury trial for one of the country’s premiere janitorial service providers against a claim involving more than $800,000 in special damages as a result of a slip and fall
- Representing a national janitorial service provider in cases involving alleged sexual battery, sexual harassment, disability discrimination and wrongful termination
- Reached a de minimus settlement for a large client, thereby avoiding a very costly trial, in a claim for sexual harassment, failure to prevent sexual harassment and aiding and abetting acts in violation of the Fair Employment and Housing Act
- Defended client against a claim for indemnity with the potential exposure of several hundred thousand dollars. Summary judgment was entered in favor of client and significant costs were recovered following the judgment.
- Successfully defended commercial security service provider against claims of negligent security in multiple lawsuits
