Mr. LaCount is an Associate in Haight Brown & Bonesteel’s San Francisco Office. He is a member of the Environmental & Toxic Tort, Product Liability and General Liability Practice Groups. His practice is concentrated in all phases of litigation with an emphasis on premises liability, product liability, personal injury and toxic tort litigation. Mr. LaCount has substantial experience representing manufacturers, suppliers, and premises owners in asbestos personal injury and wrongful death claims. As part of his practice, Mr. LaCount has represented clients in all aspects of litigation, including developing and executing case strategy, conducting discovery, including countless plaintiff and expert depositions, drafting and arguing dispositive motions and negotiating and achieving favorable settlements and dismissals. Mr. LaCount has experience in product liability claims representing manufacturers of truck, heavy equipment and automobile manufacturers; ships and aerospace products; construction products; valves and pumps; chemical mixers and ovens; and heating and air conditioning systems.
Prior to joining Haight Brown & Bonesteel, Mr. LaCount was the Senior Notes and Comments Editor of the U.C. Davis Law Review.
