HB&B has invested heavily in technology to support the firm's ability to be more accessible, responsive and efficient. One useful tool the firm has employed is extranet technology, which enables HB&B attorneys to manage and exchange documents and information with clients in a secure, private environment. Using a standard internet browser, clients can view case-related documents and status reports at their convenience, day or night, seven days a week, and the costs associated with document exchange, such as overnight delivery or fax charges are reduced or eliminated altogether. This is a secure site, requiring passcodes for each remote user. It is particularly useful for out-of-state clients, clients with out-of-state offices, and for overseas clients.
