Mr. VonderHaar is a Partner in Haight Brown & Bonesteel’s San Diego and Orange County Offices. He is a member of the Construction Law and Risk Management & Insurance Law Practice Groups. His practice is concentrated on builder, contractor and insurance-related legal issues, and includes handling complex construction defect litigation, drafting builder contracts, providing opinion letters, drafting of underwriting and policy forms for the construction industry, representation of General Insurance Agencies, representation of insureds and insurance companies in insurance coverage litigation, representation of insurance companies in first and third party extra-contractual litigation, and training of claims department personnel on insurance coverage and Fair Claims Practices Certification.
