ACTL Appoints Carol Salmacia as Chairperson for the Southern California Region

Haight Brown & Bonesteel congratulates its partner, Carol Salmacia, on her recent appointment as Chairperson of the Southern California Region of the American College of Trial Advocates (ACTL).  Carol is the first female ever to hold this position.  She has served as the ACTL’s Vice Chair for the past 2 years. 

Ms. Salmacia is a member of the firm’s Professional Liability and Product Liability & Tort Litigation Practice Groups. Located in the Orange County Office, Ms. Salmacia has over 30 years of experience specializing in the defense of complex medical malpractice litigation, defending hospitals, physicians and related healthcare providers as well as drug-related injuries, medical equipment, appliances and implants cases, and a broad range of healthcare-related matters.

Fellowship of the ACTL is extended only by invitation, after careful investigation, to those experienced trial lawyers who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility and collegiality.  Founded in 1950, the College is dedicated to maintaining and improving the standards of trial practice, the administration of justice and the ethics of the profession.
