Courtney Arbucci

Overview

Courtney Arbucci is an experienced trial attorney and a member of the Public Sector, Employment & Labor, Product Liability, General Liability, and Transportation Law Practice Groups. She is a formidable attorney who has experience litigating cases in both state and federal court.

Ms. Arbucci’s career started at a prominent firm in San Francisco, California where she successfully defended claims arising out of construction defect, toxic tort and catastrophic tort injury. Ms. Arbucci then recognized the need to gain more trial experience so she transitioned to the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, Central Trials Criminal Litigation Branch. There she served as lead counsel in jury trials involving charges of battery, child and domestic violence abuse and complex municipal code violations.

Public Entity

Ms. Arbucci is the daughter of a retired San Jose Police Officer who dedicated three decades to proudly serving the community. Ms. Arbucci’s work with law enforcement in the City Attorney’s Office allowed her to find her way back to her roots in the law enforcement community.

Ms. Arbucci has represented many law enforcement agencies in California representing agencies and officers in a wide variety of cases, involving the use of force and other civil rights claims. In 2015, Ms. Arbucci tried a case for the City of Fresno which resulted in a defense verdict. In this highly publicized case with intense media coverage, Ms. Arbucci’s passion for her clients was proven to be a force to be reckoned with in and out of the courtroom.

Product Liability

Ms. Arbucci has represented manufacturers of multiple products including: industrial equipment, swing stages, suspended scaffolds, swimming pool covers, tractors, trailers, aerial work platforms, golf cars, recreational equipment, automobile equipment, and electrical systems.  Ms. Arbucci continues to represent companies in these industries through litigation to obtain favorable outcomes.

Transportation Law

Ms. Arbucci has represented clients in transportation law by effectively analyzing the intricacies and delicate nature of each case to strategically obtain preferable outcomes for her clients.

Ms. Arbucci represents land-owners, companies, corporations, and restaurants in premises liability actions arising out of slip-and-falls through catastrophic injuries.  Her understanding of the complexity of medical claims alleged and expert discovery necessary to tactfully and tactically push a case through trial, or appropriate resolution, has landed her clients favorable results.
