Haight Brown & Bonesteel’s Los Angeles office is looking for an associate with 3-8 years of experience analyzing coverage on personal lines (auto, homeowners, excess/umbrella) and commercial lines (CGL, commercial property, business auto, professional liability and business) insurance policies. In addition to insurance coverage law and practice experience, candidates must have demonstrable analytical, research and writing skills with particular emphasis on writing insurance coverage opinions, reservations and disclaimers. Associate Attorney
The Los Angeles office of Haight Brown & Bonesteel is seeking an associate attorney with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Transportation Law/Personal Injury and Product Liability litigation. Must have significant experience taking and defending depositions and performing all aspects of discovery in personal injury matters. The candidate must be familiar with all phases of file handling including discovery and investigation, law and motion proceedings and depositions. Strong research and writing skills are required as well as a demonstrable record in drafting pleadings, memos, and briefs. Litigation Paralegal
Haight Brown & Bonesteel LLP has an opening a litigation paralegal in its San Francisco office. The Ideal candidate is a self-starter who is dedicated, efficient and an independent thinker, who excels when working in a team-oriented environment.

We will consider candidates with a certificate of completion from a paralegal program approved by the American Bar Association and/or at least 3 years experience as a Litigation Paralegal in the State of California with attorney references stating that the candidate is well qualified to perform paralegal tasks. A strong understanding and working knowledge of the California Code of Civil Procedure is required as well as the ability to perform legal research; conduct asset searches and basic investigation; draft and issue subpoenas; and draft, summarize and index discovery and documents. Candidates should also have experience scanning, coding, uploading, storing and printing of documents, as well as developing and implementing databases to manage, sort, index, analyze and summarize large volumes of data. Candidates must have experience with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Summation; Concordance; and Trial Director.

Education and Experience
  • bachelors degree, associates degree or certification in paralegal studies from an accredited institution
