Partner Greg Rolen recently appeared with Dr. Lisa Sparks, President of the Orange County Board of Education on the Ox in the Afternoon – DC Chamber radio show which was broadcasting on radio station KNSI from Washington D.C. They discussed an Orange County Charter School Program which is addressing wrap-around services for foster and homeless youth. These youth are at-risk, vulnerable and often do not have access to housing, food, uniforms and an environment that provides educational services and the opportunity to reach a path to success.
The Charter School Program aims to provide temporary housing, food banks, laundry services and education to youths and their families while they get back on their feet. The program tackles issues within the OC area initially and then throughout the State of California and ultimately, nationally.
