Mr. Wilkerson is a member of the General Liability, Product Liability, Public Entity, and Transportation Law Practice Groups. His practice focuses on defending retail clients, public entities, special service districts, and those in the transportation industry. He is an experienced trial attorney and litigator. In addition, he has a working knowledge of the Government Tort Claims Act and its role in defending claims and lawsuits against public entities.
Mr. Wilkerson has extensive experience in defending attorneys and real estate professionals in various types of litigation, including professional malpractice. His experience with California’s anti-SLAPP (Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation) statute has allowed him to institute and prevail on motions under the statute to recover attorneys’ fees for his clients.
In addition to acting as an advocate, Mr. Wilkerson has served as a Court-appointed arbitrator for the San Bernardino Superior Court. He also serves as a volunteer mediator in San Bernardino County, enjoying the ability to bring resolution to a litigated conflict.
Mr. Wilkerson has devoted a significant amount of time to pro bono activities over the years. He has helped non-profit organizations, businesses, and individuals in their quests for fairness.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Wilkerson worked as a Claims Representative where he primarily handled commercial claims both prior to and in litigation.
Mr. Wilkerson has lived in the Inland Empire for all but three years of his life. His hobbies include playing racquetball and softball, shooting trap, skeet, and sporting clays, running, and enjoying his time with his wife and friends. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of River Stones, a Redlands non-profit organization that excels in the treatment and rehabilitation of at-risk youth. He is a founding member of DSP Running and Motivation Club, an association of friends that attempts to stay healthy and fit through short- and long-terms running goals.
