Ms. Hsiao is an experienced trial attorney and member of the Product Liability, Transportation Law and Business Solutions Practice Groups. Her cases involve all aspects of insurance defense and civil litigation. She focuses on commercial trucking defense, catastrophic injury/wrongful death, premises liability, products liability and real estate.
Ms. Hsiao has represented Fortune 500 companies, small businesses and individuals. She is thoroughly familiar with federal and state court policies and procedures. Ms. Hsiao is experienced with all facets of file handling from inception all the way through trial where she has second-chaired several cases and received defense verdicts.
After graduating from law school, Ms. Hsiao clerked for five federal judges in the Central District of California. The experience proved invaluable by providing her with exceptional research and writing skills and bankruptcy knowledge.
Ms. Hsiao’s practice centers on complex commercial litigation, including business torts, real estate litigation and title disputes. She has previously represented several title companies in property and title disputes. Ms. Hsiao second chaired a multimillion dollar real estate dispute, wherein the plaintiff alleged fraud and financial elder abuse. Ms. Hsiao obtained a defense verdict for her client.
In addition, Ms. Hsiao is part of the firm’s rapid response team. This allows her clients 24 hour access to attorneys and experts to preserve critical evidence moments after the accident occurs.
Ms. Hsiao has significant experience representing truck drivers, brokers, motor carriers and business entities against claims involving catastrophic injuries, cargo claims and complex, multivehicle accidents.
Ms. Hsiao has also defended numerous product manufacturers and contractors in wrongful death, personal injury and subrogation matters.
Ms. Hsiao is actively involved in the community. During her spare time, she volunteers for the Special Olympics and is an active member in the Rotary club. Additionally, she frequently returns to her alma mater, USC, for several athletic alumni events.
