Nelson is a member of the firm’s General Liability, Product Liability, and Transportation Law Practice Groups. He focuses his practice on a variety of matters involving premises liability, personal injury, transportation and trucking, and products liability claims involving serious personal injury and death. Nelson’s clients have included major transportation companies, national retailers, product manufacturers, and commercial property owners.
Nelson joined Haight Brown & Bonesteel as a law clerk and has experience with all phases of file handling, including propounding and responding to discovery; preparing law and motion pleadings; along with preparing for depositions and mediations.
Prior to attending law school, Nelson attended UCSD where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Philosophy. Thereafter, he attended Pepperdine School of Law, where he graduated with his Juris Doctorate in 2019. While in law school, Nelson externed for Federal Magistrate and California Superior Court Judges and assisted them in drafting court orders, rulings, opinions, and statements of decision for pending cases.
In his free time, Nelson enjoys watching soccer, basketball, football, and mixed martial arts. He also enjoys hiking, camping, and training for Spartan Races.
