Phil N. Bui

Overview

Phil Bui is a member of the firm’s Transportation Law, Product Liability & Fire Litigation Practice Groups. He is focused on defending matters involving personal injury that are often catastrophic in nature and relate to transportation law, product liability and fire litigation.

His clients include trucking and transportation companies, product manufacturers, utility companies, Fortune 500 companies, individuals and other businesses. Phil excels at developing case strategies and outlining exposure, liability and valuation while communicating regularly with clients to keep them up-to-date as his cases progress.

Phil regularly handles matters in state and federal courts throughout California and his civil defense experience includes managing his matters from pre-litigation analysis through law and motion, discovery, settlement negotiations, mediation, arbitration and trial preparation. He has taken numerous depositions of parties, percipient witnesses and expert witnesses.

Phil is a military veteran, having served 12 years in the Army Reserve. He last served as a staff officer with the 426th Civil Affairs Battalion (Airborne).

During his down time, Phil enjoys training jiu-jitsu, making pasta from scratch, and watching soccer. He is an avid supporter of Real Madrid and the United States Men’s National Team.
