Mr. Torres is an attorney at Haight’s Los Angeles office, practicing in the firm’s General Liability, Product Liability, and Transportation Law practice groups. He is experienced in all aspects of litigation, including case evaluation and strategy, law and motion practice, discovery and depositions, mediations, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.

While at Haight, Mr. Torres has defended major transportation companies, national retailers, product manufacturers, and commercial property owners against claims involving serious personal injury and death.

Before joining Haight as a law clerk, Mr. Torres served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review, was a Dean’s Fellow, and a Fellow of the Center for Intellectual Property, earning a certification in Intellectual Property law.  Prior to law school, he earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from California State University, Los Angeles, with a minor in Philosophy.

Mr. Torres was born and raised in Southern California, with extensive experience in various legal industries.  Prior to law school, he worked as a certified paralegal at boutique family law firms, assisted in unlawful detainer, bankruptcy filings, and estate planning for indigent parties, and later worked in a large international law firm’s class action defense, toxic torts, and products liability practice groups.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Bertha, and their two dogs, Potato and Fifi. He also enjoys hiking, camping, hot yoga, training for that ever-elusive marathon, and reading the latest legal thriller.
