Mr. Brown is a Partner in the Employment and Labor Practice Group. He focuses his practice exclusively in the field of workers’ compensation defense. He represents insurance companies, self-insured employers and third-party administrators in all phases of workers’ compensation defense litigation from discovery through trial.
Mr. Brown strongly believes in balancing aggressive case handling with skillful negotiation in order to provide the most appropriate and cost-effective resolution for every case. For more than 10 years, he has participated in numerous trials, conducted multiple depositions of applicants and physicians, and has demonstrated particular skill in utilizing the AMA Guides in deposing medical experts.
He earned his Juris Doctorate from Whittier College School of Law in 2000 and received his undergraduate degree from California State University, Fullerton in 1996. Tom also clerked for the Los Angeles District Attorney while attending law school.
Mr. Brown serves on the Board of Directors for the Orange County Children’s Book Festival, an annual event held at Orange Coast College, as well at Kids Read! which collects and distributes books to families and schools in need throughout Orange and Los Angeles Counties.
