Wanja is a member of the Transportation Law, Product Liability, Business Solutions and Employment & Labor Practice Groups. She is a skilled litigator and defends national commercial trucking companies and insurers, public entities, religious entities, schools, restaurants, and Fortune 500 companies in litigation involving catastrophic injury, wrongful death, premises liability, product liability, employment and labor, section 1983 civil rights claims, trade secrets, and contractual claims. She is adept at all aspects of file handling from inception through trial where she has sat first and second chair in state and federal courts, winning favorable verdicts for clients. In addition to extensive litigation practice, Wanja has experience representing clients in mediation, arbitration, and administrative proceedings including before the EEOC.
Throughout her career, Wanja has counseled numerous clients on liability exposure, defense costs and policy issues in initial and continued case evaluation. She regularly provides employer-side advice and counsel to several human resources and in-house legal departments on the handling of employee relations, contracts, and personal injury matters.
