Partners Greg Rolen and Dino Velez represent a client who was special education teacher suing her former employer, Miller Creek School District, for whistleblower retaliation. As reported in the Marin Independent Journal’s November 1, 2023 story, they recently filed a complaint in Marin County Superior Court alleging that the school district retaliated against her after she tried to warn key administrators that the school district was violating federal law governing students’ special education requirements as well as public health regulations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
