Haight Brown & Bonesteel LLP has an opening for a litigation paralegal in its San Francisco office. The Ideal candidate is a self-starter who is dedicated, efficient and an independent thinker, who excels when working in a team-oriented environment.

We will consider candidates with a certificate of completion from a paralegal program approved by the American Bar Association and/or at least 3 years experience as a Litigation Paralegal in the State of California with attorney references stating that the candidate is well qualified to perform paralegal tasks. A strong understanding and working knowledge of the California Code of Civil Procedure is required as well as the ability to perform legal research; conduct asset searches and basic investigation; draft and issue subpoenas; and draft, summarize and index discovery and documents. Candidates should also have experience scanning, coding, uploading, storing and printing of documents, as well as developing and implementing databases to manage, sort, index, analyze and summarize large volumes of data. Candidates should have experience with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; and additional experience is preferred with Summation; Concordance; and/or Trial Director.

Education and Experience
