Ruzanna Hakopian

Overview

Ruzanna “Rozy” Hakopian is a member of the firm’s Transportation Law, Product Liability and General Liability Practice Groups. She primarily defends personal injury actions involving trucking and transportation, as well as a variety of other civil litigation matters. Her clients include Fortune 500 companies, trucking and transportations companies, individuals, and other businesses.

Rozy’s litigation experience includes drafting law and motion, preparing and filing complaints, reviewing and responding to discovery, and conducting legal research in support of settlement disputes.

Before joining Haight as a law clerk, Rozy earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics from Loyola Marymount University. She subsequently earned her Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law. While in law school, Rozy worked as a law clerk at other law firms and served as a research assistant, where she researched, analyzed and identified case law related to employee privacy rights. She also served as Co-Chair of the Moot Court Team and studied abroad in London during her second year of law school.

Rozy is fluent in Armenian and during her free time she enjoys traveling to new places, exploring coffee shops and spending time with friends and family.
