Accounting Malpractice Action Against Regional CPA Firm Favorably Resolved While Motion for Summary Judgment Pending

Suit by former clients against CPA firm which gave tax advice arising from failed real estate investment after seller/tenant of commercial property precipitously defaulted and re-located within six months. Case settled as to CPA’s for $365,000 while motion for summary judgment on statute of limitations grounds pending. Case thereafter tried to jury resulting in verdict for plaintiffs in excess of $5 million.
