Overview
Allen Theweny is a member of the firm’s Construction Law, General Liability and Product Liability Practice Groups. He focuses on defending complex, high exposure cases related to premises liability, general liability, construction law, product liability and other tort claims often involving catastrophic personal injuries.
Allen’s clients include contractors, subcontractors, insurance companies, Fortune 500 companies, national and regional retailers and hospitality companies, product manufacturers and other businesses and individuals.
As an experienced litigator, Mr. Theweny has successfully handled matters throughout California state and federal courts during all phases of case handling, including pre-litigation evaluation, investigation and discovery, motion practice, mediation and preparing for trial. He has taken and defended numerous depositions of plaintiffs, percipient witnesses, corporate representatives and expert witnesses.
Prior to joining Haight, Mr. Theweny worked at civil defense firms where he defended clients in actions involving general liability, the retail industry and businesses and individuals in employment-related matters.
Allen enjoys spending time with his wife, playing soccer and working on his project car during his time away from the office.
