Plaintiff, the minor child of a 46 year old woman who underwent a hernia surgery which resulted in intraoperative complications and subsequent death, claimed wrongful death due to medical negligence. Ms. Haskins represented a trauma surgeon who was involved in the care of the decedent after the surgical complication. Dismissal was obtained two months after deposition with an Order Approving the Minor’s Comprmise.
