Haight Prevails At Trial On Breach Of Contract Claim Against Golf Course

Annette Mijanovic prevailed at trial on behalf of E-Z-GO, a golf car manufacturer, who filed a breach of contract action against a defendant golf course for its failure to return seven golf cars that were loaned to the course. The defendant claimed it paid for the seven cars when it purchased its pre-existing fleet from E-Z-GO’s financing company. Following a bench trial, the court issued a judgment in E-Z-GO’s favor and awarded costs. Because the contract contained an attorneys’ fees provision, E-Z-GO will seek to recover its attorneys’ fees as a prevailing party.
