Prior to joining Haight’s Sacramento office, Melvin worked for a civil defense firm in the San Francisco Bay area where he handled catastrophic injury claims, premises liability, ADA litigation, wrongful death, commercial litigation, landlord tenant, and habitability disputes.
Melvin volunteered at The Katherine and George Alexander Community Law Center’s workers rights clinic where he provided free legal services to low-income individuals who have experienced unfair and illegal treatment at their place of employment.
Melvin is an avid sports fan and long suffering Oakland A’s fan. On his free time he enjoys spending time with family and getting out on a golf course.
