Plaintiff, a minor child through her Guardian ad Litem, claimed wrongful death of her mother following her birth. Ms. Haskins aggressively investigated the claims and sought out important prior treatment records for the decedent. Ms. Haskins then retained a renowned expert in Maternal Fetal Medicine and prepared and filed an MSJ on behalf of her clients, the hospital and the Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellow who delivered the plaintiff. Through constant communication with counsel for the plaintiff and co-defendants, Ms. Haskins argued the defense of her clients. The MSJ was unopposed and judgement was entered in favor of Ms. Haskins’ clients.
