Mary Ann Rousso is a member of the firm’s Business Solutions, Fire Litigation, Product Liability and Transportation Law Practice Groups relating to a variety of personal injury matters arising from actions involving trucking and transportation, auto v. auto, premises liability and other general liability related claims. Clients include trucking and transportation companies, and national and regional retail and hospitality businesses.

Ms. Rousso is adept at navigating her way through the California’s state and federal court system, having routinely engaged in numerous ex parte proceedings, evidentiary hearings, prejudgment provisional remedies, and other law and motion matters. She has handled cases from pre-litigation through trial, has taken a significant number of depositions, both as plaintiff’s counsel and defense counsel and has successfully mediated and negotiated settlements on her cases.

Prior to joining Haight, Brown and Bonesteel, Ms. Rousso served as vice-president and litigation counsel for a Fortune 500 national title insurance company, where she regularly litigated, title and recoupment claims arising from breach of implied warranties, breach of contract claims, negligence, fraudulent conveyances and quiet title actions. Ms. Rousso additionally served as the designated legal consultant on post judgment matters for the title company’s claims and underwriting departments for all of Southern California.  Ms. Rousso’s experience extends to representing multiple national and state-chartered banking institutions on creditors’ rights.
