Phillip Hwang

Overview

Phillip Hwang is a member of the firm’s Construction Law and General Liability Practice Groups. The primary focus of Mr. Hwang’s practice is defending clients in complex, high exposure matters involving construction law and personal injury actions arising from general liability matters that often result in catastrophic injuries.

Mr. Hwang’s clients include developers, contractors and subcontractors, Fortune 500 companies, insurance companies, national and regional hospitality businesses and other businesses and individuals.

Phillip manages his cases from inception and pre-litigation strategy and analysis through law and motion, discovery, mediation and trial. He has taken and defended many depositions of parties, percipient witnesses, experts and corporate representatives. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hwang handled matters on the plaintiff’s side which enhanced his perspective in the management of his cases, communicating with his clients and strategizing on his matters.

In his free time, Phillip enjoys getting up to the mountain to snowboard, traveling and exploring new restaurants.
