Represented General Contractor on Cross-Complaint Against Supplier for Delay Damages

Represented a general contractor who was sued by a supplier on an account receivable for concrete pipes delivered to a job site for use by the general contractor. The general contractor cross-complained against the supplier for damages suffered as a result of delivery delays and issues caused by the supplier. After a seven-day jury trial, the jury found for the supplier, but reduced the damages claimed by the supplier by over $200,000 because of the delay caused by the actions of the supplier.
