Plaintiff, a 36 year old woman claimed inappropriate statements and touching during acupuncture sessions. Ms. Haskins negotiated with counsel for plaintiff and a First Amended Complaint was filed without need for law and motion. Ms. Haskins’ client adamantly denied the claims and a witness was secured to dispute multiple “facts” alleged. Following extensive discovery, formal mediation and extensive subsequent negotiations between counsel, the matter was resolved shortly before trial.
