Plaintiff (74) claimed injuries from being struck in the head by a falling ceiling tile at defendant’s premises which had recently been sold but the sale had not yet closed. Defendant had granted access to the new occupants for the purposes of installing cable and an employee of the subcontractor for the cable company stepped through the ceiling causing the tile to fall. Ms. Haskins was able to resolve the matter for a nominal amount after conducting minimal discovery.
