Austin Smith is a member of the firm’s General Liability, Product Liability, and Transportation Law Practice Groups. He focuses his practice on a variety of matters involving personal injury, premises liability, transportation and trucking claims.
Mr. Smith joined Haight Brown & Bonesteel as a law clerk and has experience with all phases of file handling to include propounding and responding to discovery; preparing law and motion pleadings; along with preparing for depositions and mediations.
Mr. Smith graduated from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science and Economics with an emphasis in Pre-Law. Upon graduation, he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society. Thereafter, Mr. Smith returned home to Los Angeles to attend the Gould School of Law at the University of Southern California. During law school, Mr. Smith served as the Managing Editor of the Southern California Review of Law and Social Justice.
In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, watching college football and coaching his alma mater’s high school mock trial team.
