Philip is a member of the firm’s General Liability and Transportation Law Practice Groups. Philip’s clients have included private entities such as business owners, commercial property owners, retailers, contractors, insurance companies and Native American tribes.
Philip is knowledgeable regarding all phases of file handling from early case assessment through trial. He is experienced at taking and defending depositions; propounding and responding to discovery; preparing law and motion pleadings; mediation and arbitration; and effectively negotiating resolution and settlement for his clients.
Philip’s practice centers on wrongful death, personal injury, catastrophic injuries, and subrogation matters. His experience in general liability focuses on the defense of diverse industries in negligence and products liability actions, including construction and sports and recreation.
His practice additionally focuses on counseling businesses in the hospitality industry such as casinos, hotels and resorts with civil litigation and business transactions. He has additionally advised businesses in the hospitality and manufacturing industries regarding reopening amidst Coronavirus and related issues.
Philip has experience defending truck drivers and trucking companies against claims involving death and serious injury in traffic and warehouse incidents. Philip has contributed to the firm’s Immediate Response Team’s efforts involved with securing evidence and dealing with the media within hours of accidents occurring.
While in law school, Philip had a leadership role in the St. Thomas More honor society. In his free time, Philip is an avid basketball and tennis fan, and enjoys exploring the L.A. dining scene.
